With Spider-Man’s annoying habit of interfering in his affairs, Tombstone has set his sights squarely on the friendly neighborhood hero.
Such cause and effect have contributed to the burgeoning crime war in Wilson Fisk’s absence, where crime bosses are looking to gain even more clout in the power vacuum left behind by the Kingpin losing his mayoral office.
This deal gone south led the aggrieved party to directly attack Lincoln’s home, which Tombstone only survived because of his near-indestructible skin. Tombstone (aka Lonnie Lincoln) has been the central villain of The Amazing Spider-Man thus far, seeking revenge after Spider-Man stymied his sale of a Goblin Glider to the Kingpin’s son (the Rose) and willing to endanger Peter Parker as collateral damage.
